One never knows, why we are given certain challenges in life. When cancer got personal for me, the first natural question was, “Why, God?”. What I quickly felt God telling me was, “it’s not important “why”… just trust Me that I’m in complete control”. At this point, I knew He was right and I turned my disease over to Him. I realized with God in control there were basically three options:

  1. God was going to heal me supernaturally through His power.
  2. God was going to heal me through doctors and medicine.
  3. God was going to call me Home.

Because God is involved in all three options, I was at peace with whatever was going to happen in my future. The truth is, none of us are promised tomorrow… we only have today. And at that moment, I knew my journey down this path was not going to be an easy one, but whatever was going to happen, God was ultimately in control, and God does not fail, nor will He ever leave me Whatever happens to me, I feel honored that he has trusted me with trial, and I’m determined to let others know it is only by God’s grace and mercy am I able to conquer this disease. My hope is that you will not only be encouraged by my story, but that you will be able to experience for yourself the love and message of Jesus Christ.
